The clematis ordered from Brushwood are among the healthiest, most vigorous plants that I've ever ordered on line. The plants are well packaged and arrive at the proper planting time. I have order from them over two seasons and will definitely order from them again.
Extremely patient, helpful, and knowledgeable! Combined orders placed over time to save on shipping and held order until requested date to ship. I ordered 4 wisteria, 2 clematis and 1 rose and the plants arrived looking extremely healthy and carefully packed. Would definitely order from them again. A pleasure to do business with.
Positive isn't good enough, it was GREAT! These people
know what they are doing, offer wonderful plants and service
at great prices. The plants looked like something from a
gardening magazine, they were so healthy and well packaged, I was in awe and just placed another order with them. I will be a regular customer, as I had to let my garden go for three years, because I got tired of ordering plants that arrived half dead, especially from J&P. Now , I have been sent plants that inspire me. Thank them for me.

I ordered a climbing rose, 3 clematis and another vine. Everything was great. The order was misdelivered to a wrong address and Brushwood was very helpful in contacting me so that I could get the delivery 2 blocks away. Thank you. Buy from this company.
I just received my first order. Everything looks healthy and it arrived when I requested. I am very happy with my order and will definately order from them again (and again).
This was my first time ordering from Brushwood and I am very happy with the four healthy, large clematis I received. The plants were well packaged and arrived when I had requested. Thank you! I will be back.

I ordered a Huldine clematis from Brushwood a month or so ago. It arrived right on time, and was wonderfully packed. The plant was in a pot and the soil was still very moist. An insert recommended watering the plant "even if the soil was still moist" and placing in the shade for a day, which I did. I appreciated the specific extra directions.
The clematis seems very healthy and is growing very well. I would definitely buy from them again!
This is the first time I have ordered from Brushwood Nursery. I ordered a Joseph's Coat and Westerland rose and a Viola clematis. I was not disappointed. The plants were a nice size and healthy! Thank you
I am staggered by the quality of the three Clematis mandschurica plants that arrived on time, as promised, this morning. What a pleasure to add Brushwood Nursery to the list of nurseries that care.
Just received my order from Brushwood - three plants all in excellent condition. The rose has a bloom and a bud. I have not often received such happy plants. Will certainly order again.

Over the past few weeks, I have received mail order clematis from five different vendors. They varied in size and price quite a bit, but I'm happy to say that all the plants are thriving and happy... from every vendor. Brushwood offered a fantastic selection, the roots on their plants are mid-size compared to the others, their prices are very reasonable (and even better with the 10% ACS discount they offer), their discount policy for bulk purchases is fantastic, and their shipping costs are much lower than any of the other vendors. The owner was friendly, quick and helpful with his emails. My order arrived promptly, packaged well, and in very healthy condition. Overall, Brushwood offers me the most "bang for my buck" with clematis purchases and I will happily be a repeat customer in the future. A++++ vendor! =)
I received my first order with Brushwood, and I am so pleased!! The climbing roses and honeysuckle all arrived in perfect condition -- and mailed out promptly. All were very well established and the climbing rose already had blooms. Amazing! I will order again!
Brushwood Nursery is an excellent source for clematis vines. I ordered from them in 2008 and was very satisfied with the plant material. My 2009 order just arrived and the plants are even better than last season! Wish I had more garden space to order more. Excellent company.

Awesome little specimens, clean, bright, strong, well-packaged. Simple transaction. All without informing them of my Dave's Garden relationship and link from the Top 30 suppliers. Highly recommended to all.
received my order yesterday-as promised, plants look great, packaged well (except that the bottom of the box opened when I went to pick it up). The clematis already had a flower on it. Very pleased with this company. Will use them again. AA++
I love this company!! This was my first time ordering from Brushwood Nursery and it has been a great experience. Initially, when we visited their website, they were sold out of several items we were looking for, but they notified us by email as soon as the items were back in stock. We ordered several things and they arrived packaged well and looking very healthy. Thank you so much!! We will definitely be repeat customers.

To Dan and the rest of the Brushwood crew, "Thank you!"
The honeysuckle arrived safe and sound, and what sturdy little plants they are! I am truly impressed. The packaging of the plants was more than adequate. They arrived in a speedy fashion with only a couple of the top leaves bruised.

I ordered from Brushwood and received a wonderful box full of well packed, healthy plants. The plants were obviously carefully and expertly packed, came in right on time and arrived in perfect condition. I have seen similar clematis and other vines for much more money, so I was so pleased to see that the vines were a good size and the roots weren't all smushed up in containers. Instead the roots were healthy, with plenty of breathing room and growing strong. It really has been a pleasure doing business with Brushwood, I will continue to order from them, and hope they continue to sell their terrific plants for a long, long time.
I first ordered 6 Clematis from this company last fall. They not only came in great shape, but they survived the very-variable-temperatures winter and are all growing fast now. Which made me order another 8 Clematis and 4 other vines this spring. They just arrived and, again, they look very, very, happy. In addition to selling very healthy plants, the packaging is excellent for both the plants and the environment, and the shipping price is unbelievable. I strongly recommend Brushwood Nursery.

Just wanted to add that I ordered again 5 Clematis and 1x Lonicera tragophylla from Brushwood Nursery. They look even better than the ones I ordered last year - lots of foliage, and they thrive in the ground (I planted them about a month ago).

Every time I order from Brushwood Nursery I've been extremely impressed with the quality of the plants as compared with other mail-order outfits. Heck, the quality is generally better than local nurseries. The packaging of the plants is done with great care and effort. My only "complaint" is that I wish they offered more varieties of plants so that I could avoid using other mail-order companies more. Still I wouldn't want them to broaden their selection if it came at the cost of reduced quality.
This was my first time ordering from Brushwood, and I am seriously impressed! I received my order of two passionflowers and one red honeysuckle plants and they were in wonderful condition--the soil was even still moist! The plants are bigger than I had expected (I'm not complaining), and appear to be VERY healthy. I can't wait to plant these new beauties, and I will definitely order from Brushwood again.
I rate Brushwood Nursey at 110% ! My first time ordering from them and after many failures from other online nurseries I am amazed at the beautiful, healthy looking, full rose bushes that I received from Brushwood.Prompt responses from Dan to email contact, Fantastic customer service. You will not find a better place to purchase live plants on the net.

I ordered two "own root" rose bushes from Brushwood. I believe they have the best root system of any small size rose plants I have seen . I will definitely order more of these own root roses from them in the future. These roses eliminate the bud union factor in planting, or having it freeze and die the winter, causing the rose to revert to the rootstock it was grafted on to. The planting process is less tricky, since the roots will regenerate themselves, and not depend on the bud union.
