i ordered syrian rue, 56g mimosa hostilis inner root bark, 10 hawian baby woodrose seeds. i was happy to see that the package was at my house within 2-3- days. when i opened the package the first thing i examined was the seeds. some were crushed (the seeds are hard to break so i dont consider it shipping damage) and it looked like a few different types of seeds unless some where just deformed. some didnt have the fuzz that the seeds are supposed to have and others had a little bit on it... i weighed out the bark on my personal digital scale and it came out to 55g's (isnt much less but wasnt 56g's). and not all of the bark was inner root bark as advertised (had outer bark also attached on some of the pieces). the syrian rue seeds however seamed to be in good condition. i didnt weigh it on the scale due to the fact that it seamed like it would make a mess. I woud also like to note this was my first time ordering from them.. would like to hear something about this as soon as possible-

Hi,

We clean most of the fuzz from the HBW seeds prior to shipping. The fuzz can be poisonous if your dog or something somehow ate them.

There should have been extra Mimosa--we always go over a bit on everything--so that's unusual. Being so close in weight, I wouldn't really want to reship that, if that's alright. If you'll be making any future orders, just make a note of it and we'll send some extra for the trouble. That cool?

Thanks,
Jon "

Do you have an order number? If you order more than just salvia, the non-salvia part of the order was still shipped.

Any info on this? It's not our fault Salvia is illegal in VA.

We shipped it on Monday Express Mail but the post office employee was evidently anxious to get out early for the holiday (Veteran's Day) and then stuck it in a corner where it wasn't noticed again until Thursday. We did send it on Monday, though, the same day the order was placed.

The Express shipping cost was refunded even though we can't get a refund for our shipping costs from the PO mistake. Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks,
Jon

HI,

I never saw this before somehow. What's your order number? The Salvia should have been right behind. It just has to ship from Nebraska, since Kansas made it illegal.

Thanks,
Jon

I placed an order with Bouncing Bear Botanicals on April 27, 2008, the first time ordering with them, and have yet to receive anything. I e-mailed them after 10 days and got a reply from Jon saying that he would check in to it. It is now a month later, I've e-mailed them 2 more times and no response. I'm very disappointed and have no plans to order from them again.

I was very pleased with my first two purchases. They arrived prompt and with no problems. I am now on my third purchase which is at the moment has not arrived after 12 Days. I could understand any delay if my calls and emails were answered in a timely manner. However, after two calls and two emails I have yet to hear any info on my purchase.

I purchased some plants from this company off e-bay. They didn't ship for over a month, then were packaged incorrectly for cross border shipping, therefore were seized by Agriculture Canada, and returned. I was promised some seeds instead, but 3 months later, still nothing. They have received other similar feedback on e-bay.

On November 4th, 2007, jenf added the following:

Try looking at this link for feedback for these people http://myworld.ebay.com/bpbotanicals/ . After finally bringing ebay dispute resolution into it I got the following response from my inquiry as to where these seeds may be "Ya they're going today" that was Sept 19th, 2 months after they were paid for, it's now Nov 3rd, still nothing. If you can not ship then don't offer.

On November 8th, 2007, jenf added the following:

If this is not you, then how come you know the details of my order? When I asked bpbotanicals if they were bouncing bear botanicals, they said that you shipped the products. The address I was given from agriculture canada of the shipper of my seized package was yours. Just because you choose to sell under more than one user name doesn't make the issue any different. I ordered from bpbotanicals and you guys shipped the products as you've already stated.

We shipped 2 packages to the customer. Evidently both had customs issues, which usually happens with just 1 in 10 orders to Canada. The second package hasn't been returned. We don't have any negative feedback on ebay for plants. Check the feedback. Username bouncingbearbotanicals. 99% positive.

No wonder. That's not my company. You're posting about the wrong business. Here's my ebay page: http://myworld.ebay.com/bouncingbearbotanicals/
The only negative feedback I've had in the last year were for car parts that I accidently misidentified the color of.

We drop shipped for BPBotanicals. We don't anymore. And I still don't know your name, though I do remember that order. We don't normally ship live plants outside the U.S. at all. If we do, we can't guarantee they get through customs. It's sent at the customer's risk. Ben (at BP) knew that. And then your order was stopped and we STILL went ahead and sent extra, cause I don't want to see anybody lose out on an order--which was also apparently stopped anyway. All this and we never got any money from your order. BP Botanicals owes me about $5,000, which is why I don't drop ship for him anymore. : ) I'm sorry you got caught up with Ben. But that's why your e-mails weren't answered and you weren't communicated with about your order. It wasn't me that wasn't e-mailing you. If you e-mail Bouncing Bear, you get a reply within 1 day. E-mail BP and... well, you probably won't ever hear back. "
