I ordered 10 trees and shrubs on March 15 for delivery on or around May 1. On the phone, I specifically asked if everything I wanted was available and was assured that the plants were being set aside. I wanted to give myself time to find a different supplier if a particular item was unavailable.
The plants arrived on May 13, a little later than I wanted, but acceptable. One of the trees didn't show up and was listed as unavailable on the receipt. I found this annoying as I will now have to hunt for it retail or wait until next Spring to order another one. I'm glad they respected my request that I not receive substitutions.
The plants that did arrive were in wonderful shape. They all had leaves, good root structure, and the butterfly bush even had sprays of flowers. I don't think any of them lost so much as a single leaf in transit. Their method of using bamboo and twine to secure the trees seems to work very well.
Overall, I was very pleased with the plants, but disappointed that I was left one tree short.

The packaging was very good. I placed an order Feb. 19, 03 and received it March 6. I would have appreciated a card telling me when to expect the order. I ordered 6 items and 1 sub. Two that i ordered I did not receive and did receive the one sub. Maybe I ordered too late.
