I discovered this nursery on Ebay. Last summer I ordered a dozen or so different Hosta from them. The service was excellent. The communications were cordial and encouraging.

The shipping costs were free for anyone who ordered 10 plants. The seller waited until all of the auctions that I had bid on, which took more than a week, had ended so that I could qualify for the free shipping.

The prices were very reasonable. I asked the seller to hold off mailing the plants until I returned from vacation. He followed those instructions.

The best surprise was when the very well wrapped plants arrived. They were hugh divisions from well established plants. Every one was very healthy and matched the known photos of each specimen. Most had been trimmed some for packing and as they were arriving in September, this was fine.

Today, I received a black & white catalogue in the mail from this Nursery. It seems that they only provide mail order service for Hosta, but have open to the public hours at their nursery at which they sell many shrubs and some perennials, especially many for the shade garden.

The catalogue lists almost 400 varieties of Hosta, most of which are under $20.00 A number of their selections are listed as being originator stock. For non-Ebay purchases, their shipping prices are $10.00 for the 1st plant and $1.00 for each additional plant. with bonus plants included at n/c.

I would definitely buy from this nursery again.

I did not check their website before posting this review. Apparently, it is not up and running yet. It gives a message listing their phone # asking you to call and request a catalogue. Their catalogue states that all plants are shipped bare root and that they grow over 350 Hosta varieties at the nursery and are always adding new ones. It encourages all to drop by for a visit to view their "Hosta Heaven".

After checking again today, their website is now fully operational. It is loaded with full color photos of their Hosta offerings and offers a nice shopping cart system. They also accept Paypal for website purchases, a feature that I find helpful, given the current state of Internet Security.
