I have been very happy so far with my experience with St Clare seeds. I really enjoyed the website and ordering process although I haven't had online success lately from other sources. I got on a kick last fall to plan an open pollinated non-hybrid garden this year but was slow getting my act together. Once I finally selected and ordered my seeds they arrived in under 3 days. I especially like the packaging...what appears to be quality seeds in a ziplock bag within an informative packet even including the binomial name of the plant and the variety. It is too early on most to tell but I already have 5 varieties growing this early. Thanks
I had been putting off ordering my seeds because I was uncertain of what I was supporting in the order. I found out about St. Clare Seeds early Saturday morning, placed my order, and in less than two hours I received confirmation that the seeds were ON THEIR WAY! Monday was a federal holiday, so no mail ran, and I was so excited to receive my seeds today - Tuesday! And a package of free squash seeds, too! Thank you so much for not only providing heirloom seeds with fast service, but more importantly for your Catholic faith! I shall report back when we harvest - this is our first year gardening, so I remain hopeful!
Wow! What a great company to do business with-they were quick to answer emails and my order was packaged great with a bonus pack of seeds! The arrival time was unbelievably fast. I can't wait to get see what these seeds will do!
A day and a half was all it took to get my seeds. The planting directions are very helpful and clearly printed on the back of each package. I was delighted to find so many space saving plants and plants designed to grow fast for those in higher latitudes.
Fast delivery, quality packaging with resealable plastic bags inside an outer paper envelope. Helpful description and planting instructions on the outside of the envelope. I would definitely order again.
Fast delivery, very nice looking seeds. Its hard to determine and to find GMO free seeds. They claim to be GMO free, but there really isnt much of a way to determine this. Overall I got really good vibes from them and I will be buying more seeds from them. Dont buy Burpees or Territorial. Buy St. Clare's
I found the ad in the Catholic Family News. I was looking for a source for heirloom seeds and decided to support a company that supports that paper.
I ordered on Saturday and the seeds were at our doorstep today, Tuesday. My husband and I are excited about planting the seeds as soon as the weather will permit.

I found St. Clare Heirloom Seeds through a Google search as I was looking for a specific kind of seed I couldn't seem to find anywhere. They had it, and very inexpensively.
I placed my order, and got a shipping notice the next day! Shipping was cheap, and I couldn't believe how fast my product arrived. They even included a FREE packet of similar seed with my order! All in all a WONDERFUL experience, and I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can plant these wonderful seeds!
I was very surprised by the pleasant, helpful and friendly person I talked to on the phone. Mailing was a flat rate which was low. My seeds came very quickly too. Overall a wonderful company to work with.
This is the second time that I have ordered from St Clare seeds and both times I was very pleased with the condition the seeds arrived in and how promptly I received my order. Last years seeds did beautifully I had also bought some already started plants from other sources and the seeds from St Clares produced the best most fruitful plants. I have placed another large order this year and look forward to getting my plants started soon. Thank you St Clares for your beautiful product.

My order request for Harris Model Parsnips was mailed out promptly. I found their article about Powdery Mildew on Heirloom Vegetables particularly outstanding. I enjoyed receiving a free packet of another variety of parsnip seed.
After making a decision to start gardening again exclusively with heirloom seeds my search on the internet led me to several seed companies dealing in heirloom seeds. I took a chance on St. Claire's and am I glad I did! I live in the Pacific Northwest and I have ordered twice from them. On both ocassions my order came very quickly, my order was accurate, and they even threw in a complimentary pack of seeds for me. I love St. Claire's Seed Company and they have won me over for life!

St Clare Heirloom Seeds is the best source I have ever found. Their web site is detailed and easy to mavigate. My order was shipped in hours, and arrived in perfect condition. Before I placed my order, they responded to my email question the same day. The prices are very fair, and $3 shipping is a real bargain. A price list PDF is available for download - and made ordering easy. And I am impressed at the variety to select from, and the wealth of information on the site. This is a family business and I highly recommend St Clare Heirloom Seeds.
Even though I live in Wisconsin I was still surprised when I placed an order and received it the next day - Excellent Service. This is only the beginning of my second year with St. Clare Seeds, but so for I'm satisfied.
I recently ordered some seeds from St. Clair Heirloom Seeds and they arrived in a timely manner. I was happy to receive a complimentary pack of seeds as well. Their prices are good and they don't sell genetically modified seeds. I would definitely do business with them again.
St. Clare Heirloom Seeds is a great non-gmo seed company. They were recommended to me by a friend. When I received my packets of seeds in the mail I could tell they take a lot of pride in their business because of the custom made packaging. I also like that they us this type of business incentive for positive feedback. I would definitely recommend this company to any garden enthusiast. They will certainly receive my business in the future.
Found this company when looking for non-GMO seeds for our garden and I am SO glad that I did! They have so much variety to choose from, very reasonable prices, super fast shipping, and they threw in extra seeds. Definitely recommend them and will be buying from them again.

I would like to share my first business experience with St. Claire Heirloom Seeds. It was nice doing business and I am looking forward to doing more business in the near future. The service was great because I received my seed orders quickly than I expect it. I would also like to extent a gratitude to St. Claire Heirloom for the extra seeds included. Therefore, I would like to address this experience to all interested consumers. St. Claire Heirloom is the right place to get your seeds because it also comes with extras. Once again, St. Claire thanks for the great service.
I was looking to identify some winter squashes that I purchased to try. I wanted to know how to cook them. But, before I did that I need to be sure what they were (kind of redundant, huh?). Anyway, I stumbled upon St. Clare's site and found that they not only carried Non-GMO seeds, but also had them reasonably priced with a nominal shipping charge.
My seeds arrived in the timeframe promised, I receive a free pack of seeds (of another squash that I was undecided about getting, yeah!!), and a small sample of their worm castings!!
100% germination so far! Very nice company to deal with. We are just getting back into vegetable gardening and rediscovering the thrill of plants popping out of the ground. Since we are doing small raised beds, I planted the peas, beans, and spinach seeds one at a time in the rows. Not a bare spot in the row! We look forward to the harvest!
I found this site through Dave's Garden. I was looking for non-GMO, Heirloom seeds. I ordered lettuce, peas, tomato and carrot seeds. The order arrived very quickly. I am a vegetable growing newcomer, and I look forward to seeing how the seeds develop, both indoors and from direct planting.

I am so fortunate to have stumbled on this website looking for non GMO seeds. I have already started to sprout them indoors for use in my summer garden. The small plants look great and healthy and I am looking forward having a good harvest. I will and have recommended this website to several of my friends. Thank you for sending my order so quickly. I have also mailed a couple seed packages to my sister in Holland who has a small farm and was looking for non GMO seeds.
St Clare Heirloom Seed had exactly what I was looking for and more. Black Aztec and Blue Hopi seeds are not easy to find even on heirloom/open-pollinated sites. St. Clare had both and reasonably priced, despite the rarity of these varieties.
The shipping price is also great- currently only $3 no matter what you order.
The shipping was incredibly fast. I ordered from two other seed companies the day I placed the order at St Clare's. I'm still waiting on the other companies.
The website also has quotes on every page, making shopping for seeds even more enjoyable.
The shopping cart also, properly takes you back to the page you were on by pressing "Continue Shopping". Two other companies' carts take you back to the home page, leading to much frustration when placing a large order.
Overall, St Clare's has been the best experience in seed shopping. I cannot wait to order a few of their interesting books, especially the one entitled, "Homegrown Whole Grains".
My St Clare Heirloom seed order arrived very quickly. The seeds sprouted easily and are now thriving past primary leaf stage. I look forward to doing business with St. Clare again and recommend them without reservation. Thank You !
