I received my NewGardenPlants order today and was very pleased. The plants were larger than I expected and in excellent condition. The bonus plant was very nice as well. I had one other order that I decided to cancel so I emailed Pete and ask him to cancel that one. I know he's got to be a very busy guy, but still he promptly answered saying he would cancel the other order. Sure can't complain about that kind of customer service! I'll be ordering again from this company.

Placed an order for 2 different types of perennials, about 12 total plants. They were on sale for great prices. The plants arrived packaged very well, in great shape. One extra plant included. I would GLADLY buy from them again. They had a "Color Guard" yucca for a price that could NOT be beat!

It would have been neutral , but I have e-mailed 3 times with no response. My order included 5 Echinacea . Four were nice sized plants and one (Meteor Yellow) was very small just reaching the top of the pot. The main reason I e-mailed was that they substituted Hot Coral which I already had a few of for Salsa Red without notification.
In these days it is not hard for a company to contact you about such matters and they had plenty of other plants I would have preferred . In what other business can a company just send what they want.

I had ordered a Jack Frost Brunerra from Jung Seed and the difference in size and quality was startling (I would buy seed and roots from Jung however). Much bigger, much healthier, and packaged respectfully.
The company added a freebie. Freebies are always nice. They don't have to do that. Not sure that they do that with every order. This was a first time order.
Due to the quality of this order I have just placed another order for some flowering perennials for a rejuvenated flower garden. Thanks New Garden.

I ordered two penstemon, two coneflower & one helenium.
One penstemon was had the top almost completely broken off so they included another free one and added a bonus plant of a coreopsis . All the other plants were in good condition and very well packaged.

I placed a very large order with 'NO SUBSTITUTIONS PLEASE' as the only comment. Most of the plants were large, healthy and packed well. A couple of the plants were missing quite a bit of potting mix and a couple annuals looked like they had just been started in jiffy peat disks and re-potted. They did not receive one plant from a supplier so they substituted another - despite the fact that 'NO SUBSTITUTIONS' was printed on the order receipt they enclosed. I ordered the Hollyhock 'Chater's Double White' (Alcea rosea) and Hollyhock Scarlet (Alcea Rosea). I have never ordered plants via mail order and was skeptical. I was very pleasantly surprised when my order arrived. The plants were in perfect condition. They looked healthier than the plants in Lowe's and Home Depot nursery departments. (We don't have a *real* nursery in this little town). Very healthy looking plants and a bonus plant was included that looked just as good as the hollyhocks.
I will be ordering from Pete in the future and recommending him to others.

Shipment arrived intact with healthy plant despite issues with FedEx-their explanation as to the delivery delay was laughable. Well-packed. Extra plant added without cost was a nice touch. Would order again from this company. I think Pete needs as many orders as he can get considering the size of his family. My best.

Very positive. Ordered on Sat and asked for delivery this week and they sent on Tue and arrived Thur. Packed beautifully and plants were in very good condition. One price shipping so you can buy a lot and still have economic shipping. Their online site is easy to use too.
I purchased 2 heuchera and was very surprised at the excellent way they were packed. They put the plants in a fiber type bag secured them and glued them to the bottom of the box and to the adjoining bags. I had quite a time getting them off the box, but I was greatful as you could have tossed that box and the plants would not have moved. Great idea. No soil was lost either. I also received an unexpected free plant. I will purchase from them again.
I just received and planted my order the other day. I bought 2 different kinds of lilac bushes and 2 blue salvias. I am very pleased with this company, my plants arrived in very good condition and were packed great. Each plant was individually wrapped in a thin fabric and hot glued to the box to prevent any movement during shipment. I also received a bonus plant to my surprise of an English Daisy! I would definitely shop with this company again and would recommend them to my gardening friends!
What a wonderful transaction! The plant arrived safe and sound and there was an additional plant in the box. The plants were packaged in a manner that would allow the them to ride upside down without damage.
I was looking for a specific plant to place in a bed with a Rose of Sharon "Bluebird". I found a complimentary Rose of Sharon "Blush Satin" at New Garden Plants. Not only did the plants arrive in a timely manner, it arrived in bud!
Wow! Nice Plants. This is the first company that has sent me decent-looking echinaceas: a nice size and healthy.
I've purchased at least a thousand dollars worth of plants from New Garden Plants this season - my first order was so wonderful looking, I went back for more. I've even placed a couple of orders for a friend of mine, the plants were just so nice.
Packing is excellent. The plants are not shipped too wet, and they are secured very well in the box. No breakage occurred because of loose pots.

I received my first order today (hanging basket combos) and have nothing but high praise for this company. Variety of available plants is huge; every time I check their website, there is something else I want. In fact, I am expecting my 2nd order next week!
I took a chance and ordered from this company in late July. It was a small order, but I'll without a doubt be purchasing from them again this spring! My Agastache "Summer Love" arrived small but healthy and well-packaged. I confess to having given it pathetic care on planting, especially given a brutally hot and dry summer... and for a couple of weeks the plants didn't seem to do much of anything. But I guess they were just working on their roots, because all of a sudden they just took off! Robust, flower-laden, gorgeous plants that put on a stunning show for more than two months! Only now, following a couple of nights in the upper 20's, have they finally faded.

I am a veteran weekend gardener -- but with a new house, nothing in the yard, a hip replacement and a broken wrist, I have been buying many plants this year online. No one can surpass the excellent quality of the plants I purchased from NewGardenPlants! The plants are bigger by far than any of the other vendors, packed better than any of the others; the company is a GOLDMINE! I have been using the website "Dave's Garden" -- to read vendor reviews and have used only the top vendors-- and I almost didn't order from NewGardenPlants because they are so new...their products are just too wonderful not to brag about!
The website is easy to use -- the pictures and descriptions clear -- and the quality of the plants shipped are better than some I have purchased from my local nursery. I will be a return customer, again and again and again.

I stumbled upon the nursery while searching for Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost,' which is offered currently at the sale price of $11.55. I also ordered Geum chilohense 'Mrs. Bradshaw' ($5.99), Viola cornuta 'Columbine' ($8.67) and Eupatorium dubium 'Little Joe' ($7.49) I also received a free gift of Nepeta faassenii 'Walker's Low.'
After placing my order I received a confirmation email message. I had chosen the upcoming Monday as my ship date and on the Tuesday after that day I received a shipping confirmation with FedEx Ground tracking information. I received the order on Thursday in sturdy, well-packed boxes. The plants were in deep, 4" pots. The soil was moist and the plants showed no sign of damage. Even the free Nepeta was this size. The boxes were packed without use of Styrofoam peanuts!
All of the plants were in excellent condition with active growth. The Brunnera had 12" of growth and was in the final stage of its spring flowering. The Viola were very healthy and also in flower. The Geum and Nepeta were equally healthy and seem likely to bloom when their season arrives. Only the Eupatorium was smaller than expected, but it is a plant that is later to awaken than the others.
Included with the order (besides the free Nepeta) were soft metal plant identification tags and a coupon for a free plant with my next order.
