I kept adding to the order and ended up with 37 daylilies. I had four orders all together and was about to put in a fifth one and realized I had run up a big bill and asked if he would give me anything on list #5 as a bonus, I read them off and he said you get them all as a bonus. The communication was great and the order was perfect in every way. I could not have asked for more. Bill Maryott is very generous and very meticulous, he did not miss one word I said. I received a confirmation email and the plants were shipped on the agreed upon date. When the box came it was like getting a Christmas present. :) I ordered one plant and expected to get the weekly special, and a bonus plant. What I got was 5 plants and 16 fans!! Every one of the plants sent were 3 fans, and the one I ordered was 4. The plants were planted 6 days ago and have new growth (anywhere from about an inch to a little over 3 inches). - The gift plants were off my suggested list of bonus plants, so they were ones that I was already considering buying.
I can't recommend this company enough, only just remember if you order, you might get more than you bargained for. ;)

I had sent Mr. Maryott an email saying as I had purchased BOGOs I did not expect extras, but if he was to include an extra I was doing an orangish area. He sent back an email saying he thought he could find something that would fit the bill. Did he ever.

And of course, all the divisions were huge and healthy.

Now 2008 and I'm watching the buds form on the Maryotts daylilies that I purchased in 2007. I purchased the collection of 30 varieties, along with another dozen Maryotts, received late June 2007, potted immediately, transplanted 60% to the new bed I finally readied in the fall. 40% wintered over in 5 gal pots in the non-heated garage, survived, and this past 2008 Memorial Day weekend, I finally finished planting all of my 2007 Maryotts. Those planted in fall 2007 are beginning to bud. Those that overwintered in pots, most became rootbound, appear as happy as the planted.
I'm in zone 5 and now consider this a successful experiment, intend to buy another collection of Maryotts, and am anxious for this year's blooms.

This is one very impressive company. I just received my first order from Maryott's Gardens yesterday. When I opened the box, I was beyond thrilled by the big, healthy, generously-sized plants. The promotional plant was wonderful. And, yes, somebody at Maryott's does seem to know which bonus I really wanted and sent that one as a free gift.
Using the web site is easy. E mails were answered in a timely and friendly way. The transaction the flawless. I could not have asked for more. Maryott's knows what customers want and delivers even more!

I was very happy with the order I got from Maryott's last June! The daylilies were fresh and healthy. They were all more than 2 fans (ranging from 3 to 6 fans.) The Maryotts gave me an extra bonus plant because they said that some of the plants may have been smaller than usual due to weather problems (although I thought the size was fine) and the bonuses ended up being worth almost as much as the daylilies I bought. The Maryotts also said that the shipping charges ended up being less than they had estimated, so they credited back the difference to my credit card. The only negative was that Maryott's doesn't start shipping until June 15, but the plants all settled in and grew well and half of them even bloomed last summer! The daylilies were a great value and I would definitely order again.

I LOVE, love, love Maryott's! I was a first-time customer this past August when I placed my order and was 'wowed' bigtime. Everything folks were raving about on here is true.
They send huge,healthy fans and some even pushed out scapes that are just starting to bloom.....in late September! A couple even had little proliferations on them so I got a couple extra baby plants. The bonuses are extremely plentiful and generous. (When I totalled up the cost of the free bonuses Bill sent, they exceeded what I had spent. And he sent ones that I had really, really wanted but were too pricey for my budget!)
I was so thrilled, I emailed him to find out if it would be too late to plant in my zone, because I wanted to order more lilies. He always responds quickly and cordially. Once

Wonderful plants. I see why everyone raves about Maryott's Gardens. Nice big plants, great big fat roots! It was the BOGO sale and they STILL gave me two bonus plants: Kwanza Gold DF and Latin Rhythm DF.
I even got a third "bonus": One of the Cinco de Mayo has a prolif and the Kwanza Gold also has one! Both seem to have survived the trip.

This is one fabulous daylily nursery! Bill Maryott is wonderful to deal with, and his bonus plants were eye-poppers! Since I live in Bakersfield and received the plants in July I potted them up for fall planting, and several of them bloomed in the pots later in the summer and through the fall! I guess it has all be said by others here in their feedback responses, but I would like to mention his wonderful website with fantastic pictures, ease of ordering, his email communications with me, and last but not least the gorgeous double and triple fans I received -- plus so many, many bonus plants. Folks, you cannot go wrong by ordering from Maryott's! I purchased 5 daylilies, expecting to receive double fans and the special advertised bonus of Kazoo and BOGO of Lord of Riches. I did not receive double fans, but triple or better! Plus, they were wonderfully healthy! Coming from CA to KY, I wondered if they would be stressed from the trip, but they could have gone into the ground that day! Adding to my delight, were EXTRA bonuses likely totaling more than my order! I was and still am amazed! You can feel confident in ordering from Maryott's.

I received my first order from Maryott's today. The daylilies were the largest fans and so healthy. I could not ask for better. The bonuses were newer varieties and just as healthy. I really didn't expect so many bonuses either, and most were from my wish list for possible bonus plants. I will be returning to Maryott's next year. For the quality, quantity, bonuses and prices--you can't go wrong with this company and you can depend on them to answer your questions and reply to your emails/phone calls quickly. OK, I know a free fan or two is becoming standard in the industry. And it's a nice practice. But the gifts I received were nearly as many in quantity and higher in total retail price than the plants I paid for.
