From what I read here, it almost sounds like they pick and choose who they want to do business with and who not to. I ordered from a catalog, sending my order and a check on April 1. On April 27, I had not received my order, so I called the company. The person answering my call seemed very nonchalant about it and didn't seem to think the time lag was out of line. It is really too late to plant now.

I attempted to order seeds from this company 6 days ago. I live in San Diego and I have made 4 long distance calls to Vermont and still have received only 1 answer to my 3 questions. Despite giving them my phone number and email address, I still had to call back before I even received the one answer. I have 2 very simple questions left unanswered: did I order Lovage seeds and would they please email me a copy of the herb seed order I placed as I neglected to print a copy of it. Surely to give me the answer, which could be accomplished by simply sending me back a copy of my herb seed order as I was promied, could only be the work of five minutes?
It is of course my own fault that I went ahead an ordered seeds from them. It took me months and months to get a catalog from them. But I was so excited by the number of heirloom varities that I could get for 35 cents a piece, that I went ahead and ordered them anyway.
In addition to waiting months for a catalog, numerous emails were ignored as I attempted to find out details about their seeds. Evidently they don't know anything.
In my opinion these people are unprofessional. I now have serious doubts that I will even receive my seeds. I will have learned an expensive lesson and will not be ordering from them ever again and would recommend that no one else does either.
