WAY Positive.... I am usually disappointed with mail order plants, but not this time.... I would definitely order from them again. I ordered 4 hostas and I am going back for more. The order was prompt in coming, the plants were hefty, (3 crowns each).
The pricing was right...

My order from Naylor Creek just arrived and I'm so pleased! Ordering from them was a great experience. They were very helpful when I had questions, answered all emails thoroughly and promptly and even notified me via email the day they shipped my plants. The hostas are very healthy and their selection is excellent! I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future!
I just got hostas from Naylor Creek earlier this week and they arrived in great condition and on the promised date. They notify you by e-mail when the order ships with tracking information and their service is really great. Above all, they have a great selection of some really cool hostas. I will continue to be a customer and recommend them to others.

I just received my new order today. As with all past orders, they arrived in really good shape and are of exceptional quality. I ordered four hostas and all had multiple eyes. The service is exceptional. Prices are very good. S&H was only $10, which I consider reasonable for such a large package. I will order from them again next year.

I ordered for the first time this spring. I thought the price was excellent on the 5 hostas I ordered, and I received them 2 days after they were shipped even though the company is in Washington and I'm in Virginia. The plants were well packed, are healthy, and a couple came with an additional single-eye plant. I'll definitely be ordering from them again.

I ordered again, and again was very pleased with the plants I received - generously sized, large roots, healthy plants.
I received my first order from Naylor Creek a couple days ago and I can now highly recommend them. The plants they sent are great and they sent an extra single eye of one the plants I ordered. Tops in my book.

I ordered two Brunnera's that I couldn't find elsewhere and requested them after Mother's Day. Days before I expected them, I e-mailed Naylor Creek and asked if the shipment could be delayed one week since I was traveling. They said I'd just made it in time and they were able to honor my request. An advance e-mail was sent so that I could expect the mailing and the plants were packaged well and arrived in good shape. One of the best out there! Thanks Naylor Creek!
I second what everyone else has said. I ordered from them last year. The plants arrived in fine shape, were a reasonable size and did fine for the rest of the season last year, without undue transplantation shock. I was a bit concerned aboout the trilliums I ordered since they went dormant right after I put them in, but they're up and beautiful this year; they make me smile every time I look at them. I'd definitely order from this company again.
One of the best hosta sellers there is. They always send multi eyed plants, with excellent root systems, and have excellent customer service. In the 50+ i've ordered from them. I can honestly say, i've never recieved a porr quality hosta from Naylors. If you want to be treated with respect, and recieve wonderful plants. This is the nursery to buy from..

Anybody out there that wants to know how to package plants for shipping, should order from these guys. I got my order at the time requested, but my planning ended up being messed up due to weather, so I didn't have a spot ready to plant anything!
I left the plants, an assortment of hostas and other perennials, overnight, then stuck them in a bucket of water for 3 days, then finally planted. One of those three days was in the high 80's! These plants didn't bat an eye. All gorgeous, excellent sized specimens, and I have no idea how they can offer such superior plants at such lower prices than the competition and stay in business!
Of course, none of this really surprises me at all, since I've been ordering from NC for years and have never been disappointed.
I bought two nice plants from Naylor Creek via the Hosta Library Auction. I wasn't expecting too much, since the plants were relatively new introductions. Boy, was I surprised. They sent me two nice hostas with at least 3 eyes each (actually, 3 eyes on my 'Touch of Class' and 5 eyes on my 'Forest Shadows'). The communication was great, shipping was done well, and service was top notch.
If it wasn't for the prohibitive shipping costs to do a regular order, I would order from them again without question. As it was, their shipping costs on the Hosta Library Auction were very reasonable. Great plants, great service. No regrets.
I ordered from this company this year for the first time and was very pleased with my order. They sent an email comfirming my order with an expected shipping date. The plants arrived at the appropriate time and packaged wonderfully. They all appear to be thriving too, so I would definitely order from them again.

I received my order from Naylor Creek a week or so ago and again I am very pleased with what I received. Very nice hostas with great root systems! One of the plants I ordered was unavailable so they sent along a refund check with my package.

I've purchased several hotas from Naylor Creek this spring, and every one was in excellent shape, and had excellent root systems on them..So if your looking for nice quality plants, and excellent customer service.Just place a order with Naylor Creek, and you'll understand what I'm talking about..
I'm surprised there aren't more reviews here, since I know NC to be an incredibly popular nursery!
They are always my first place to go if I'm planning on ordering plants, and I only go elsewhere, if they do not have (and won't get in) something I want. In other words, if I don't see it listed on the site, I will email, and if I know for sure that they don't have it, and aren't going to in the near future, then, and only then, will I order from anyone else.
I have been a devoted customer for years, and will continue to be, as they have a wonderful selection, fabulous plants, and amazing customer service. I have never, in many orders over several years, been disappointed.
I placed my first order with Naylor back in January. I received a very prompt confirmation of my order with a ship date of April 21st. After waiting patiently, I finally sent off an email with first week of May to explain that the order had not yet been received. I received a response that day stating that the package had been sent and to check with my local post office. I replied back stating the post office confirmed that the package had not been received.
Naylor reshipped the package promptly, and all plants were received, packed extremely well and in good shape. They were wonderful folks to deal with and I would not hesitate to order from them again. It's rare to find a company that will take the time and effort that they did.
I have made hosta orders from Naylors and have been fortunate enough to get to talk to the guys on the phone a couple of times. Great, great, great people with gooooood hostas, wonderful selection, and great individual attention. Thanks Naylors!

I recently received my first order from Naylor Creek, and I am very happy with the hostas I received. Prices are great, too! I plan to order again. I liked the early bird special of free shipping for orders of $50 and more.
If you are into hostas you will love Naylor Creek, the plants are huge, gigantic root systems and they take off like rockets when planted. Some that were shipped were so large I divided them before planting. Their packaging is excellent too and the prices and variety are good. There is also an early bird discount for those who plan ahead and order in winter.
this is order number three for me from naylors creek. i have never seen such plump, big and beautiful roots on hostas ever. they are so beautiful, you want to kiss those roots before you get them planted. they are very helpful with my trades i do too. i highly recommend them and their plants.
I had a landscape situation that was perfect for small and miniature hostas. Last spring I searched the internet for nurseries that had a good selection of hostas. I stumbled upon Naylor Creek and my search came to a screeching halt. Their website was so complete and informative that I took a chance and ordered several mini hostas from them. The plants were wrapped perfectly and the roots were moist and viable. All were clearly labeled. They grew at varying rates during the summer. Some varietes are naturally more vigorous, but all of them performed in a positive manner. I was so impressed by this nursery that I ordered more hostas and shade perennials from them this year. When I e-mailed them to add a couple more plants to my order, they replied in one day. They also sent me an acknowledgement letter that included a list of plants ordered and the shipping date. The letter was hand signed by the owners. This level of professional dedication and personal concern along with great plants has made me a customer for life.
The hostas I ordered from Naylor last spring had huge root systems, and took off instantly in my garden. They were by far the largest divisions I got from any of the several nurseries I ordered from, and I already have an order confirmed for this spring. This is one satisfied customer!

I ordered several cimcifugas and heucheras plus one fern in 2001. I found them on the Web after a search for cimcifugas--they had a great selection. I had a charming ordering experience chatting on the phone with these guys, and they were very understanding about my need for late delivery here in the Catskills, where we sometimes get snow on Memorial Day. I got three of a very unusual variety of cimcifuga that are the highlight of my shade garden and doing spectacularly. The fern lives in a pot and comes inside for the winter, and is fantastically healthy and extraordinarily handsome. The heucheras aren't getting enough sun, and will be moved this spring, but all survived in spite of less than ideal conditions. Highly recommended for a great selection of shade plants.
I ordered hostas from Naylor in 2001 and again this year (2002). Am a happy repeat customer. Plants were healthy and larger than expected. Some were wins from the hosta library auctiona and some were catalog orders. Would reccommend this nursery highly!
I have ordered over $500 in hostas from them in the last couple of months. The orders arrived within 4 days of placing on the web. The prices are good, but if you are comparing head to head with some other companies you may be fooled into thinking they are on the high end of average. Don't be fooled. The plants they send are huge. I have been able to easily divide the hostas they ship into three and sometimes four plants if desired. They send plants easily twice to three times as big as their competitors. The selection is fantastic, service is great. They even take PayPal. Highly recommended.

Very prompt with reply e-mails and shipping! All the plants I purchased had large root systems, and seem to be very healthy. Extremely pleased with size of plants and with packaging (prices are great, too)! I'll definitely be doing business with them again.
This outfit is first rate. The root systems on their plants are huge! I've never gotten such well-rooted plants from a mail order nursery! The prices are very modest, considering the size of these plants. My plants spent the MemorialDay weekend at the post office and still arrived looking great. Terrific!
