These get anywhere from 5 to 10+ foot tall. The shadier the area the bigger they grow. They LOVE moist soil. These Elephant Ears can handle Full Sun but seems to stunt they're growth. They do tend to burn a bit during the hottest part of the summer in the southern regions. In northern regions they need to be dug up before the first freeze. The Hardiness Zone for these are: 7b to 11. Below there is a picture of myself, I am 5'5" reaching for the top of one of the parent EE's. They DO Flower. The flower is usually a pale yellowish white(pictured below). Has a mild musky scent. Butterflies are attracted to the flowers. These plants are rapid growers. Suitable for regular gardens also for bogs & water gardens.   The last 2 pictures were taken on 7-24-2009 that is my minature pinscher she is at the tip of her ears 17" tall. Up to quarter size/length = 13 for $6.75     I wash out the soil & Foilage is cut back when shipping to perserve the energy of the bulb and to lower the cost of shipping.
