Adenophora lilifolia
“Lilyleaf Ladybells”
A vigorous and profuse bloomer for part shade, this Campanula relative from Asia grows to 30” tall, forming nice sized flaring, pendulous, lavender-blue bells, held on upright spikes from late summer to fall. The flowers are fragrant and are good for cutting too. Adenophora lilifolia forms fleshy roots and will spread with age. After flower spike is spent, cut it back to the base to encourage even more bloom. Loves rich, moist soil. Self sows.
