"Four-O-Clocks"
"Four-O-Clocks" or the "Miracle of Peru" is an EASY all time favorite garden
flower. They bloom faithfully in the late afternoon with fresh bright trumpet
shaped flowers, until frost. The flowers colors are mixed- white, magenta, red,
pink, or yellow, some striped and interestingly several colors often appear on
the same plant. It's a strong looking plant with the substance and character of
a shrub 3-4' tall, and though often grown as an annual, it will re-sprout from
its large tuberous root. If you're in a really cold climate, you can dig and
store tubers until the following Spring. EVENING FRANGRANT!
