A popular variety among agapanthus fans for years, Donau is a blue variety with deep green foliage that grows about two feet tall and frames big, 7 to 8 inch luscious blue flowers. Each floret is pale blue inside, with a light purple blush and a shade darker on the outside. This color variation makes Donau a winner for situations where you can view the blossoms up close and in detail; in plantings near areas where you relax, along the walk to the front door and in table top flower arrangments. Will develop into large clumps that may be divided every third spring to expand your stock.
