Ajuga reptans "Burgundy Glow"Ajuga reptans "Burgundy Glow"
Planting on either side of front pool border Burgundy Glow Ajuga in 36" window box container sunk into rock. Chose because I think it will blend well with the stone and the stonecrop plants in front part of this rock border..
Box on left (walk out door) used MG container mix; on right am using Hardware store brand. Pow swears it is the same but cast about 20% less/bag.
variegated ground cover; sun or partial shade; water-wise plant
medium fast grower; 6" x 18" habit; survive -30 to -40 degrees so should survive our winters
