Johnsonii Amaryllis - Hardy - Philip and Peggy Yarborough,Phillip brought me a large garbage lid of unbelievably large bulbs.
10/7 planted between doors in front of shed with 1 planted on upper outside corner by ginger.
1/15 very low temps ( 2days in low teens) wonder if these survived.
Peggy said thinks one might be pink but bright red all others
Trimmed leaves and roots, planted so that bulb was above ground. Sandy topsoil mixed with mushroom compost put down early spring.
