hi- can anybody recognize the name of this bird. It visits daily in the rose bush and is looking for aphids or scale on a basil plant. Also likes the nectar of a cobra lily. It is about the size of a lesser goldfinch, has a yellowish green breast and greenish brown wings. There is a light patch above its eye. Small, pointy beak. I can't find it in the Audubon guide. I would say it is in the wren family, but not sure.
Thanks .
p.s. this is in San Diego.
