Photo of CLOSED: Help. What is this thing?

I sent along an older photo of the thing and two I took this a.m. that may show a little more detail of its "skin". As the thing moved when I tugged on some adjacent little shamrock "thingies" (that's a technical term), I do believe it's Oxalis, but this thing is not even remotely similar to the tuber photos I've seen here and on-line. It is not shiny and I'd judge it never has been (don't forget the FUZZ; definitely not mold or fungus). It's not conical or pointed in shape, but rather bulbous on the end (the end opposite the "roots"). I can confirm a few things for sure, however. It is not cat poop or a part (or an ex-part) of the large Beaucarnea that sahred the same pot. So, in conclusion, my Plant Pals, I do agree with our guest horticultural expert that it's probably Oxalis, but this tuber does not look anything like that of the O. tuberosa or any other tubers I've seen so far. Are you all growing weary of this yet????
