One oldie but goodie and one getting a second chance

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Here is a pic of an oldie but goodie 'Ruby Giant' Very dependable echinacea in my garden. Lovely deep rose color and tough as nails. This plant was just moved this spring and has settled in well to the new location. A definite winner this one.

The other is appropriately enough 'Hope'. This one is getting a second chance here in a new location. Only one bloom allowed to make sure it is who it is supposed to be and I need one to go to seed to tell the plant okay did your job, now get ready to sleep for the winter. Fingers crossed she returns next spring.

Oh and found one of those conjoined flower buds on FA. These things are really weird. I think it is called fasciation or something like that. They don't know why it happens, it just does occasionally.

This is a seedling from 'Sunrise'. Must take after the father. :)
