Geranium Pink Penny

Norristown, PA(Zone 6b)

I wanted to post a photo of this new Geranium that I'm growing. It is called Pink Penny. The grower is Blew Label Perennials. I think it is a new cultivar as I had to make a page for it in PlantFiles.

In the beginning the blooms were pale pink with lavender lines. Through out the summer, the pink kept deepening in color. This photo was taken about 10 days ago. Since then, with the cool nights, the blooms have really gotten darker and now are taking on an overall reddish violet color.

I bought 2 of these plants in August at a half price sale at a local nursery. Give this lovely beauty a try, hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I am.

Nice...I'll have to keep my eyes open for this one next spring. I need some new Geraniums for my new border :)
