Countdown to first frost :(

Agawam, MA

In my area, the first frost could be coming any day - the average date is Mid-October. I want to overwinter my tuberous begonias (tubers to be stored) and annual geraniums (to be pruned back and stored in an unheated greenhouse). Can either of these stand a mild frost, or should I be bringing them in now?
Thanks, Cindy
