SOLVED: Huge leaves, red stem, what do I have?

North Platte, NE(Zone 5a)

This is next to a tomato plant, about 3 feet tall now. Another one is growing across the path, a friend may have planted it this spring, or is it a weed? I've never seen this before in my yard. Leaves are opposite, stem is red. Leaves have 7-8 sections connected as 1 leaf. (how is this correctly described?)

My friend solved it -- she reminded me we planted a couple of Castor Beans.
