Josephine, do you have a elderberry, buckeye or passionflower vine still available? Would you like a bag of the rabbit manure for trade?
Josephine, Illinois BundlefIower looks interesting and unusual. What can you tell me about it? How big does it get? Can it take some shade?
Yes Karen, I still have them and they are yours, and yes I would like the rabbit manure for sure.
Dennis I love the Illinois Bundleflower, it is a perennial with lovely ferny foliage that can take sun or part shade and grow to about 4 feet tall.
The flowers are rather insignificant but the seed pods are beautiful and last a long time.
Birds love the seeds too.
Do you want it?
Oh, if you lost plants in the flood today and need some of mine please don't hesitate to ask.
I'd love to try to Illinois Bundleflower. Thanks!
So far, it looks like I didn't lose anything in the flood. There were a few broken branches due to the current and floating debris, but everything looks much much better than I feared it might. Whew.
O.K. Dennis, the Bundleflower is yours. I am glad the flood didn't do much damage.
If they are still available, could I please have the Marie Pavie and strawberry geranium?
I will bring you chicken and rabbit manure (I have both), if that is an acceptable trade for you?
MsGF (aka Kate)
I would love to have some Indigo Spires salvia, please.
I will try to bring some manure for you - it seems like the minute you promise it to someone the animals close up, but I'm sure there will be enough time between now and then to get a good amount :)
MsGF (aka Kate)
Kate, will you please post a trade list even if it is small? I can then make a link to it and put it at the top with the others.
Thank you very much.
Glad to see you and Richard are coming Kate. I saw you had some catnip for me :) Is there anything I can offer you?

Catz - I'd love some butterfly ginger, if you still have some?
I'm going to see if I can split some of my kitchen herbs after this rain. I've got some french tarragon, winter savory and lemon grass...
Welcome Ken, I am glad you are coming, although I am sad that Nadine had to cancel her RU.
I linked to your post and put it on the top, so please post away.
Do you know who else was going there that might want to come here?
MsGF~ I do still have the bf ginger. I'll put you down for some. I'm not familiar with winter savory, what is it used for?
Glad your coming kenboy :)
Hey MsG, glad you are coming. Yes, the Marie Pavie and strawberry geranium are yours! Love manure...thanks for the offer!
I guess I haven't caught up on threads enough, I didn't hear Moodene was cancelling. Did she get hit by the storms? I sure hope everyone is ok. I need to hunt the thread so we aren't getting off topic.
Glad you are joining us Ken. I will have that hop tree from LindaTX with me since you are.
As for others Josephine....I saw renatelynn in Boerne and she was going there, so she may join us.
Ok....editing to say I read the reason that Moodene cancelled. Family medical is always high on my list too. I am sure her Dad will appreciate her company....they have my prayers.

I hope she will come I haven't seen her for quite a while.
Kate, I would love some manure for an Indigo. I just looked at them today to see if they had rooted up yet, and one has. It's small, so I'm watching for a bigger one to bring you.
Ken, I'm sorry Nadine had to cancel too, but glad you can make it. You know what? I just noticed today that my Pink Wonder has an offset coming up. I was thinking about how to get it to you, but I've never divided gingers before and really don't know how. So, since you're coming, I might bring the whole pot, and you can dig it up for the offset, and show me how in the process. Does that sound okay with you? Or would you rather wait till next spring when it's a little bigger?
That sounds like a expert demo to me....I want to watch. I usually just cut and hope.
I would love to have some of your herbs. Is there anything that you want? Tina
Looking for Cow Pen Daisy and Frostweed.
pbtxlady, I would be glad to show you how I divide Curcumas. I have Googled Curcuma zedoaria 'Pink Wonder' and only got one hit, which makes me wonder if Easytogrow didn't just stick a name on Curcuma zedoaria to make people think they had something special. Just like someone started calling Costus pictus - Costus pictus 'Hieroglyphics'.
Tina_A, yes I will have Brugs and Gingers and whatever people want, if I have it.
Hmmm... well, I don't know. I googled it once. Had to hunt, but finally found some photos of some really big ones growing in a botanical garden somewhere in Australia. They look like mine. Only thing is, I can't tell if my two are the same plant. One has the pink stripe running down the center of the leaves, and one doesn't. Not sure which has the offset. Anyway, I'll bring them, and next year when they bloom, we'll see what we get.
I added a few more haves to my list. Please ask if you would like anything as I really don't want to have to care for the leftovers during the winter! :)
Dennis, may I have the Virginia Sweetspire and the Columbine?
Josephine and catz - done! :)
Josephine, if nobody claims the second balsam gourd then can I claim it for my dad?

Thank you Dennis, sure you can I will give it you for him.
Thanks, Josephine. I know that he will appreciate it.
Debnes, can I have some Aristolochia serphanteria seeds?
Hi, I'm outside taking stock of what I can divide and share. I'll let you know what I'll have shortly. I know I have Lemon grass :)
I'd like to try the dragon fruit, and if no one else wants them the banana (my rabbits LOVE banana leaves).
I'd like your Native Persimmon, please.
Anything I can bring you? (I know I don't have an extensive list up yet, but let me know if I post something that catches your eye)
dennis--i read that mexican mint marigold leaves taste like licorice in tea--and i love liorice so can i please give it a try?
also would like to try the bolivan jew for a winter house plant
i do have a list but will be adding to it as i get more into the swing of things
Sure you can have the Persimmon Kate. It is hard for me to pick something since I am doing only natives but I will check and see.
