Thanks Arlene! When do you usually take the bulbs out of the ground? I am going to start taking Coleus cuttings soon but hopefully not as many as last year. Two of each plant will be plenty for me. Mine are still doing great outside and are so colorful.
I wait for a hard frost so it's generally mid December and on the nastiest day possible.
Since I didn't want to wait too long to take cuttings I did them in July and found it was really much too early. September is ideal. I've cut back seriously from the amount I had last year as it was just too much work.
