Dear friend, during my recent trip to San Diego I took several pictures of unknown trees, which I would like to identify.
This is the first one, picture taken in Seaport Village. I am Italian and I have never had the chance to see such a tree in Italy, even in botanic gardens. But I am no expert ...

Another picture. As I come from Mediterraneum, from a distance the tree looked exactly like quercus ilex
