Beautiful. We are in Hamlin, NY and my sister has the best luck with the prickly pear. She had in a 4x6 garden over 200 blossoms. This was doubled from last year. How does onemanage these without getting the little pricklies in your hands? Enjoyed your picture. Have a great day!

Glad you liked the picture! We have them growing wild all around the Wisconsin river area. If you take a single (half) sheet of newspaper and fold it in half, and fold it in half again, you can work with the prickly pear (or any cactus for that matter) without getting stuck. Took a picture to show you what I mean.
