Bowling ball to garden decoration

Baytown, TX(Zone 9a)

I have two bowling balls that I am thinking of decopaging with daylily pictures, but I want to put them out in the garden, so I'll need a glue that can take the heat and humidity. Any suggestions?

I love the ones done with the glass mosaics but don't think I have the patience for that. Do you know what glue they use for those?

What about using tile sealer over the decoupage? No clue if it'd work but you chould test it out on something smaller.

That's true.......maybe use a polyurethane......or something similar.

don't have a clue but will be waiting for pictures of what you come up with

You can paint them like lady bugs or bees
just google bowling ball bees or bowling ball lady bugs
they are adorable my friend made them and now that is what I am going to
do as well and then one I am making into a gazing ball
Good luck

I painted one with "Hammered Copper" Rustoleum spray paint. The glue is either D6000 or GE Silicone II, both work well.

Thank you soooo much! I still haven't gotten to this project just yet. I will be so glad when I have the time to do it.

We are still taking care of things at my Mom's old house. We are now cleaning and painting, hope to put it on the market soon! Once it is sold I will have so much more time to do fun things again!

Thanks again for your suggestions! They are sincerely appreciated. The balls are just sitting here patiently waiting!
