~ bump ~ still hoping for a response/ID to my question in the first post - the link is to pictures of a vine taken in Chiapas, Mexico and was originally posted in the Morning Glory forum.

We are wondering if it is some kind of morning glory - or not - a species belonging to the genus Dioscorea perhaps?

That same one was already posted here on the ID forum: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1242074/

Hi ecrane, thank you for answering. Evidently the link you just shared of another post regarding this plant went unidentified too. I'll take this back to the MG forum and ask the originator, Suzanne_Cook, to follow up with pics of flower and sepals.

Thanks again,
karen
