bought those colors this year...going to go back to the red one's...
What kinds of Iris do you grow? Do you have many?
I only have tall bearded, maybe about 100 but i dont know the names of any of them. cant afford to buy so i get whatever i can for postage from generous DGers
have some from family and friends...did buy some from pollyk on here...her's are great...nice bloomers too...
I have the tall bearded and one peach-colored intermediate bearded for my "Peach of a Garden for my Peach of a Husband". (Also 'Beverly Sills' in the bed in the back in front of the eremurus.) Kooky name, huh??? He said he like peach-colored flowers and I could not put any in with the other beds, so I made a new bed. (I'm still working on it, too!)
It's been so dry. We have a 60% chance of rain today. I hope we get some!!
hope you get your rain...my water bill is double..nooo chance of rain here:((
finally out. burned 400+ acres, lost one house. my son is out there with his fire crew mopping things up
Hot and dry here, too. Most of the nearby fires are out though, fortunately.
Yes he is a wildland firefighter with the USDF. I hate fire season.
bet you worry while he's out putting out fires...hot and dry here too.
constant worry I hate it, he loves his job though
guess when our kids decide what they want to do...and love their jobs...is great..
The hydrangea that I got from them is absolutely gorgeous. I have never had a "lace cap" before...
