Happy Birthday everyone! Hope you all have a great day!
Happy Birthday to all born August 17th!
Was treated to some fancy schmancy pedicure and lunch by the pool at a local luxury spa/hotel by good pals......was PERFECT way to spend my birthday! Happy Birthday to all my fellow Leos!
Thanks for the birthday wishes! Nothing spectacular today dangit!
Treat yourself to something nice, shortleaf, even if others don't!
Thanks KyWoods, maybe I'll dream of a sandy beach and a palm tree and stuff! People are good to me, I've gotten a hug and a card, really, I don't want anything else!
Life is good, I have no complaints! : )
Thank you All for the birthday greetings! It is very thoughtful of you all to think of us Leos.
I did nothing spectacular. I worked outdoors doing flotation samples; I actually love to be able to work on my birthdays... then went out for mexican food and margueritas with the neighbors.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a fantastic day! My husband ordered my favorite German sausage, Pinkelwurst from Karl Ehmers and my brother made the dinner of Pinkelwurst, kale and potatoes. Yum! Also, my husband is taking me to Gallery 63 Auction house in Atlanta, GA on Thursday. This is the one on TV. I love auctions and this will be so exciting! Not to mention all the birthday greetings I received on my Facebook and calls from my kids, grandkids, and siblings.

I'm glad you all had such a nice birthday.
Mmm, that German dish sounds yummy. I got to visit Germany while in the army, and spent a lot of time in the restaurants and bakeries. Loved it!
Thanks again taters55 and KyWoods.
Not a bad birthday! My Grandmother Louise has a Sister named Linda Kay!

Nice to hear there is another Londa Kay somewhere!
Glad to hear you had a good day!
I think Linda Kay was a pretty popular southern name maybe. I didn't think it was you, you sound too young. My Grandmother was the oldest of 13 children tho, Linda Kay is only in her 40's or 50's.
Yeah, my b-day was good, other than my clip-on sunglasses being relieved from me at Walmart that day..lol Somebody probably thought they were worth something so they kept them, actually, they'd be worthless to anybody else but to me they're worth about $50. They went on my prescription glasses. Actually, it was a Walmart worker that whisked my cart off with my magnetic clip-ons stuck to it, she was only being helpful she thought, she thought I was done with the cart, I turned around and it was gone.
It was an old prescription, I'm going tomorrow to see about getting more, the sun is getting quite bright! I've called Walmart several times to check their lost and found, no luck, oh well, I had them for nearly 5 years.
As they say, onward and upward!
Thanks for the well-wishes!
I am 57, and my Dad is from Tennessee, so that is probably why I got the name? Sorry to hear bout your glasses!
Thanks for all the Birthday wishes DG buddies,
Tho I did not do much exciting, I did see my grand daughter and daughter that day....kissed my favorite man (before he left for antartica) and my son came in from work (3am) and said " mom, I have the day off Sunday, hows about I give you 100 buck and we run off to the casino" THAT WOKE ME UP......so we stayed up talking for about an hour.
All in all, the day was grand!
I'm very much abliged to you for liking my Birthday~ Little Lord Fauntleroy
Wow, what a sweet son! Goodness, what will your hubby be doing in Antarctica? Is he a scientist?
Glad to hear you had a good day, and what a nice way to say wake up!
