Hi! I need your help! This beautiful plant volunteered in one of my beds this year, and I am having a time identifying it -- do you know? I'm so glad I didn't cut it down in early summer because it attracts more butterflies than I've EVER seen -- I can go out and have literally 50 - 100 monarchs and other butterflys flying around me as they take turns on this plant -- so, of course, I want to find it and plant more!! Thanks for any help you can give me. Here's some pics. In the close up there were at least 5 monarchs on it, although they're wings are closed so it's hard to see them --- SOOO beautiful! Dax

I found it! Liatris borealis - Northern Blazingstar - a prairie native. I must have planted it years ago, and since it didn't do much, forgot about it. But it is simply fabulous this year. I'm getting more for sure -- Thanks for looking - Dax
