This was Sammy doing the 40k walk around 'LL' in Summer.
Banff have some really fabulous summer walks.
Yes, as a kid.
Looks like Sammy did a full tour.
I wouldn't want to take that walk right now, though.
Yes, It is all snow at the moment.

This next Picture is just outside the front door of the Resort on the banks of Lake Louise. (summer)
This Picture was taken from the other end of Lake Louise looking back to where the last Picture was taken.
Looks cold, even in winter. I'd take a frost-free climate anyday.

This was Feb 8th 2010 and this is well out on the frozen Lake.
Sammy didn't Ski, he just looked on and laughed.

Love that mistletoe, we have lots of mistletoe in our trees in Florida but nothing like that, just boring light green berries. The berries on this one are just as striking as the flowers are...wouldn't mind that growing in my trees at all.
