Now that is too cute! I've not seen that Stapelia before and appreciate your sharing the photos.
Is the bloom fragrant (as in stinky)?

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Mine hasn't bloomed yet, even though it's a few years old.

Oh cool... you have a S. erectiflora too?

Port Elizabeth, South Africa(Zone 10a)

Less stinky to near odourless for me. Very willing as long as they get good light.

I knew better but my first thought when I saw the tall flower stalks was they were reaching for more light.
It is definitely one of the unique Staps. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Beautiful photos of this stapelia. I love them. How large does this one get?

Button size flowers on the unique long flower stalks.

Nice one! Love those funny hairy flowers. I will have to keep my eye out for that one.

Little_things, a search on this plant took me to your blog site. Nice pictures. I enjoyed moseying around. I loved the shots of the wide open spaces... reminded me of Montana.

Thanks plexi!

Helen, glad you likes it, I am working my medium term plan with that, would like it to be informative but it does take time to build such pages, and with the baby coming time needs to be well planned! But I will keep working on it come what may, I do love it.

LT: I'm glad to hear you will still by around posting after the baby comes. Time will definitely be at a premium then!
