Hemerocallis in Xanthorrhoaceae or Hemerocallidaceae?

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

What is Dave's Gardens' conclusion to this question and how is it determined?

Thank you!

edit: I misspelled Xanthorrhoeaceae in the title -- apologies!
edit #2: The answer I received is that both Hemerocallidaceae and Xanthorrhoeaceae are considered valid. . . So, the answer is yes. ;-)

Just to confirm, all hems should be in the Hemerocallidaceae family. Just because an alternative family name is valid per our checklist doesn't mean it's the correct family for the genus :-)
