CLOSED: We have been invaded

Las Vegas, NV(Zone 9a)

Our temperatures are topping out at 117 degrees. But it is a dry heat.

The last three days our Koi pond waterfall and back landscape has been invaded with these birds. I am sure they are a common bird, just not to me. Thank you.

The first two pictures are of a juvenile American Robin. And the last two look like young European Starlings. I'd be happy for a Robin invasion, I like those birds. But you can keep the Starlings. :)

I thought they could be robins because we had many nests but I was looking at photos of the females. They did not look like the photos I looked at. I am delighted they are robins. All four birds were in the waterfall at the same time. Does that make sense?

Ditto to juvenile American Robin and juvenile Common Starlings.

Yep, they'll be happy to share water together

Thanks so much. I guess if it is 117 degrees even Democrats and Republicans would get in the same waterfall. LOL.
