Fern Leafed Bleeding Heart full sun?

Stroudsburg, PA(Zone 6a)

I just got some fern leafed bleeding hearts in a trade (thanks,Shirley) and the place I really want them is in full sun. Can they deal with that successfully? I am in zone 6a and can keep them watered.

Hi. Here are the evaluations of your fellow members:

Here is another one fron a web site I find quite good:

But, from personal experience, plants like this will do quite well IF you keep them very well watered, but you will not get full performance in full sun. I discovered that with a lot of plants from my old full sun garden that were partial shade plants when I gave them less sun. They thrived in more shade. But it depends on how much you want to do this (and do I ever understand that!).

So try it if you really want to. You can always move the plant.

I would think that this plant would get burned out in full sun. The best placement for this plant would be morning sun/afternoon shade.
