Well, hmmmm. Let's see. I've been enjoying a crustless quiche. Does that appeal to anyone? Can always bring cheesy potatoes.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Sounds Good!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

😋

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm not sure yet. Will think about it.

Joyce, Both things you mentioned sound great!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Well might bring both!

Columbus, OH

Anyone have any requests?

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Celene, My DH has a request. Lol He said you should bring the cheesecake thingies. Not my words. Lol

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh huh I love cheesecake thingies!

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Yep here too!

Columbus, OH

Is it the stuff I brought last time...it's cheesecake-ish, with cherry topping?

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Yep, that's the stuff! :)

Columbus, OH

Will do!

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm thinking about bringing a fruit or veggie tray with dip. Does this sound good or should I bring something else?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Sounds good to me!!

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Great! It's easier than cooking. :) Do we need table covers or plates or anything?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Talked to Ric earlier today and he said he'd be on soon to talk about it.

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Sounds good!

none of ur business, OK(Zone 5b)

salad
or fruit

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

We're doing Sloppy Joe's/Buns/Cheese and some desserts.

They have electric there so crock pots, etc are a go.

Robyn bought table coverings and we'll be bringing a propane stone.

Columbus, OH

Do we need sides? I have no idea what goes with sloppy joes, I've never had one. Big bags of potato chips and potato salad?

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Robyn made sloppy joe's last year. They were yummy! Chips and potato salad both go great with sloppy joe.
I'm going to bring fruit and dip and some chocolate chip muffins. Yes, I have a sweet tooth. :)

Do we need plates or paper towels?

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Plates, trash bags? and Towels would be good.
Chips, potato salad (Robyn is allergic to onions), baked beans, etc are fine
Robyn says she has 6 table coverings.
We'll be bringing a cooler and ice.......
And Robyn is making sweet deviled eggs..... didn't even know there was a dill version till we moved down here....lol!

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

I can bring garbage bags and plates and paper towels. I just went to Sam's last week. :)
Do we need some dog cookies? I just found a new recipe to try. They are made with chicken baby food so they might stink. Lol Just a warning. :)

Columbus, OH

Costco potato salad has onion, so I'll have to whip some up. No onion :)

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Still not sure what I'm bringing...but I won't come empty handed!

Columbus, OH

Ric, will Robyn eat a no-mayo style potato salad with a cilantro vinaigrette, or is a regular mayo kind of salad better for her?

Columbus, OH

Okay, I made the American style potato salad with mayo. I christen this "R&R" potato salad, Rebecca & Robyn. No onion, no chunks of egg :)

I have cherry delight in the works, and I have a big package of napkins, 32 bottles of water and a cooler with ice.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

THANKS! Celene~!

Puppy snacks sound good Karen!

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Sounds great. When Drew's breath stinks. Remember, I warned you. Lol :) My fury babies love them.
Bill will be joining me.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

We have Dog Breath Biscuits....LOL!

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

I made peanut butter instead. The chicken baby food had onions in it. I wasn't sure how allergic Robyn was to onions so, I went with peanut butter instead. Hope Drew likes Peanut Butter. :)
They sure smell good!

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Dru loves peanut butter....I put it on his nose.....lol!

So far we haven't found a cooked recipe he likes..... hope this is the one!

Columbus, OH

I'll bring Lean Treats, most dogs think they're good :)

If you make your own dog biscuits, make sure the recipe doesn't have onions/garlic/shallots/related plants. There are a shocking number of recipes that have garlic and/or onions and similar. They can cause non-regenerative, fatal anemia. I suspect that it'd take more than you're likely to put in a dog treat, but given the potential for serious toxicity, I just leave them out.

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Here is the ingredients in the dog treats I made. I wouldn't want to make anybody's fur baby sick. Please let me know if they are going to be toxic to any dogs.

The peanut butter biscuit recipe:
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1cup water
2Tbsp. of oil
1 1/2 cups white flour
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flower

Knead dough into a ball and roll to 1/4" thickness to cut into shapes.
Bake at 400 for 7 to 10 minutes.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Sherry and Kathy are joking us again this year. Kathy is bringing green bean casserole and Sherry will bring cheesy potatoes. Sounds like well have some. Good food! Even the dogs!

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh, I love cheesy potatoes! Yum!
Can you drag Bertie along? I would love to meet her.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I texted her to see if she could go, but she hasn't answered.

Columbus, OH

That recipe looks just fine. I have a similar one that uses broth instead of water and adds brewer's yeast. I think water is probably better, lower sodium.

Hamilton, OH(Zone 6a)

Thanks! I would hate to make any puppy sick.
