Will elephant ears and willows grow beneath a black walnut?

I am trying to figure out what to plant where and I have some elephant ears and a dappled willow (Salix integra 'Hakuro Nishiki') I'd like to plant along a fence line, but they would be pretty close to several black walnut trees. Does the juglone from the trees bother them?

Thanks!

I have no idea. Black Walnut trees are typically bad for most anything but EE's are pretty hardy. Are you planning to build up a bed of some sort or just plant them in the ground along the fence line? You might try a few this year and see if they do ok and then go from there. I'd hate for you to lose a bunch of them if they don't do well.
