Foxtail Palm - trunk is showing abnormality

Dana Point, CA(Zone 10b)

I just noticed 'bumps' on two of my foxtail palms. Anyone ever had this issue?? It's definitely worrying me and I can't seem to find anything on the internet that will tell me what or how to treat this.
Help?

My large one doesn't have that but my small one does , only lower down (within 30 - 40 cms above ground). Doesn't look like it's doing anything bad. Both plants look as healthy as each other. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

It seems that is the case. I'm getting the same response over in PalmTalk. So . .cool. I won't worry about it anymore. Now if I can just get my little Macrocarpa to grow up!

Chamberonia macrocarpa? I've got a couple of small ones that are really slow. But they're in poor soil and I don't do anything for them, so not surprising
