King, your beds look great. My coneflowers right now are fried because of our dry heat. But I have cut them back and they will regroup and bloom again right around Christmas if it does not get to cold. We are heading into the mid 90s. I am more than ready.

Lovely! Your photos now and a few weeks ago have made me want to add more wildflowers to my garden!

. Thank you!!....The coneflowers certainly add a lot to any garden....Next year, I am going to plant some in masses, like around 5 or more of the same kind , prob. in the back, and a taller variety...Summing it up now and looking back, my best and longest performers were Cheyenne Spirit, Ruby Giant, Pica Bella, Virgin, The 2 POW WOWS I had(Pink and white ones), Pink Poodle,Virgin, and Milkshake....Of course the old standbys are good most of the time----Purple,Magnus and Prarie Splendor....Remember that you're in a different zone, and prep. plus the soil and amendments mean so much....Take care and good luck...
