This plant was at a botanical garden with no id on it. The leaves are dark green/purplish. The fruit starts off dark black/purple, but then is red when ripe. I thought it was in the solanaum family, but it smells hot like a pepper and burns my hands. Any ideas what this is?
SOLVED: Type of Pepper (?) Purplish-leaves, fruit black then red when ripe
Looks like Black Pearl.
I did more looking online and I think it is what they call a Purple Prince or Pretty in Purple. Thanks!
