I have a gourd that I just (water) cleaned. It was green from the garden. It now has a terrible smell, even after thoroughly drying out. I am wondering if anyone has suggestion on how to remove a terrible odor? I've tried soap and water, borax, bleach, baking soda and carpet fresh without much luck.
Anything else I might try? Will time eventually dissipate the smell?
Hope to hear from someone soon as my membership here runs out the end of January.
Happy New Year to everyone.
Helen
Odor removal
As time goes the odor might have gone. You could try some professional cleaning methods if required.
Have you ever tried vinegar solution? I hope it works.
