Which Woodpecker/Sapsucker

Clinton, MD(Zone 7a)

I initially thought it was a young Yellow-bellied sapsucker, but then I compared it to a photo of a young Yellow-bellied sapsucker I took the same day (1/1/17) and it had no red markings and different white markings on the wings when compared to the yellow-bellied. So, which woodpecker or sapsucker is this? I took this photo in my neighbors front yard.

I think your original ID was correct. The markings aren't quite right but they come closer to Yellow-bellied than anything else, and there is a lot of variation in immatures.

Yep, agree with Yellow-bellied Sapsucker immature.

There's three separate sapsucker species indigenous to the US. The Yellow-bellied is the only Eastern Species, so almost definitely a Yellow-bellied. Very nice picture.

And what about the white spots on the wings?
