First-time caller here ... :)
We’ve got some raised garden beds (Sydney) in the fromt yard instead of lawn, where we usually grow herbs & veggies. We were away for June so had a couple of the beds empty with just pea-straw on top (apart from ploughed-in mustard greens since mid-May to deal with root-knot nematodes).
I’m wondering; does anyone know of anything I might plant this weekend, and which might be usefully edible before it needs pulling for the spring plantings? I put peas & broccoli in, mid May, and at the rte they’re growing there’s no way I could plant those now & have any produce by September.
Would welcome any suggestions! :)
Veggies that will produce in Sydney before spring?
