Two faves together: Kerridoxa elegans and variegated Rhapis

Gainesville, FL

I planted these two palms side by side many years ago and am happy to see both have survived my neglect and have still done pretty well. The Kerridoxa is a somewhat rare palm; habitat loss makes it rare in the wild but it is being cultivated so is not totally lost...the variegated Rhapis were all developed over centuries from plain green rhapis palms in Japan.
