SOLVED: mystery succulent....

NYC, NY(Zone 7a)

Photographed at a botanical garden -- greenhouse with desert environment.... Unfortunately, the beauties didn't have an ID tag and I've been unsuccessfully trying to figure them out via internet searches. I'm hoping someone here recognizes them and can point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance!

Gee, such great colors!

It looks like a gasteria to me. But my gasteria knowledge stops at a general ID.

How about Gasteria batesiana?

I hadn't clicked thru on that link on Plantfiles when I posted.
This pic looks closer.

LOL! I am now looking thru gasterias looking for a match to yours. Always a bad idea. I didn't find one but am now convinced I must start collecting gasterias immediately!

I checked suggestions against the botanical garden's online plant database... You hit pay dirt with Gasteria batesiana ... Thank you!!!

They are indeed amazingly colorful and intriguing.
