SOLVED: Identify red flowering hanging plant, please

Charlotte, NC(Zone 8a)

We have this lovely hanging plant that is easy to grow from clippings and usually flowers in February. It was filled with blooms and they are suddenly drooping and starting to drop. Please help identify and figure out what is causing the blooms to drop. (Sorry, the picture is sideways)

Seems like a Columnea to me; could you post a close-up picture of the flower once they open?

Looks like a Columnea to me also.

Thanks SO much - it is definitely a Columnea; that is exactly what the flowers usually look like. Now I can research why all of the buds are dropping.
