can anyone identify this tree, I started it from seed I traded on this site and it has been growing almost 10 years and this is the one and only first bloom on the tree, it is about 15 feet tall thanks
SOLVED: What tree is this?
I think it might be a privet of some kind, either California (Ligustrum ovalifolium) or Chinese (Ligustrum sinense) privet.
this is a picture of the tree, on the left center is the one bloom that it has, I do not think of this as a privet. the second picture show the length of the flower, it is sort of like a lilac, at least 7 inches. sorry about the sideways pics, flower is low on the left, tree is front tree.

It appears that the leaves on your tree are larger, so it's probably a different species.
