Pat, I'll probably see her in the next coup[le of weeks. She lives about an hour away.
AUGUST Challenges, Projects & Organizing Ourselves..
Looks like we got a spammer. Don't click on the links.
Betty, are you okay?
Spammer? Oh no..
I知 ok Lindakay, I seem to be spinning my wheels, so much I want to do, start off thinking I値l get lots done each day, morning starts off well and by mid afternoon all my energy is gone..
Spent 1/2 the afternoon looking for birdhouse pattern, know I had it last week but where oh where did I put it?
Did the Dr give you a shot? Did it help?
Susan, where are you?
Admin hauled spammer away.... At least you got the morning Betty!!
No shot, have to grin and bare it, he thinks the specialist sept 30 will find out why, here is hoping.
Glad to hear that you have an appointment with a specialist.
Hoping you get to the bottom of it Betty. I hate doing a test and come back in a month....repeat for a year.
the wait time to the next MD appt can be FOREVER.... or so it seems! Like you all said, test, wait, see MD, Then referral... new test, repeat...
You have been busy. I love that pillow.
Are the birdhouses for the girls when they come to visit?

Me too Linda, remembering the fun day in Frankenmuth.
I made it the quilt shop and got the top quilted. I have a LONG way to go before I get very good at it!! Man... choose a thread that blends in & then terrible time keeping up with where I have quilted!! I don't have puckers & pleats pm the back but I have a few "rail road tracks" from either/and tension not quite right & moving too fast. Learning curve!
I need to get a few more blocks made to increase the size of the next quilt top & then I'll be ready to go again.
I had such a good time in Frakenmouth.
Glad to hear you are learning Pat. Sounds like fun.
Takes some time Pat to get used to movement..does it not have a stitch regulator?
Karen and LIndakay, on my chair in my office here i have the rose chenille throw, panels bought at that fabric shop and think of fun time..poor Joyce, broke her bottle of wine lol
I still have the fabric I bought. Haven't found the perfect place to use it yet but I look at it from time to time and remember....
Have to look for chocolate wine here for when they come, likely only a stateside product..because of how expensive wine/alcohol is here they bring their own..
Making a list of meals so know what to shop for this weekend , some I値l buy later in the week like fresh fruit. I値l have to start counting the days
My husband was in the habit of calling it sleeps. He worked in Alaska off & on for several years in an area that had "all dark or all light" for several months of the year.
I need to get the binding on the quilt I did on the long arm rental Monday and then I'll take a picture of the front... maybe I'll swallow my pride and take a picture of the back!! Let's just say I have room for LOTS of improvement!
Anxious to see it Pat..you are too hard on yourself.is it a computerized design?
Sharon was leaving after getting her perm when I was getting there for mine. The girls were talking about bad weather last night, Lordy those sleeping pills work like a charm, didn稚 hear a thing!lol
Not computerized, free motion. I was trying to mimic the design in the border print that suggested blowing snow to me.
I spend hours on a blackboard mimicking the design I want to do..do that often enough and the motion comes to you automatically, no thinking necessary lol
I have dry erase pens & large clear acrylic that you can put over paper design until you get the hang of the design.
Marie's granddaughter picked out a horse fabric and I am guessing we are starting that quilt before long. I have not picked out the pattern yet, Marie wants to be more involved in this quilt top. I intend to WORK her!!! My goal is by Christmas. I have others that are ahead of it the line.
I made a new friend yesterday. She came over and between us we got the embroidery part figured out. She also belongs to Amvets and when I showed her some of my finished quilts, she loved the Freedom ride one with the Eagle & motorcycle. She said I know just the person it would be perfect or. I told her that was who I was saving it for so she is going to set up the presentation.
That is wonderful Karen..was it a simple fix?
Now watch you go lol
Isn稚 it exciting about the Freedom Ride quilt..he will treasure it for the rest of his days I知 sure.
I知 working on a fall piece, a fall throw then I believe I bought a fall design and will see what I can make with it.
Having house full next week for 5 days so at some point I値l have to put projects behind and make sure I have all I need for the girls craft projects.
Is the fabric printed and then appliqued? There is a lot of shading on your pieces.
That's exciting about the Freedom Ride and new friend. I would love to make a local quilting friend. I'm still working on my sister and my SIL has asked for some help with a baby quilt, so I guess there is hope!
Panel, I added. Outer border, it is draped on frame, maybe that is what you are seeing..
Drats, here I thought by now the throw would be off the frame, instead the carriage that hold the sewing machine fell of the truck then of course machine fell off carriage..was thinking of trying to set it back on track myself but it痴 sooo heavy so have a call out to put both back on..grr
Hope all is well with your machine & stand/tracks. Having that out of commission would be the pits!
