SOLVED: Unknown plants in South Texas

Emory, TX(Zone 8a)

A friend moved to a new house in South Texas and she sent me pictures of plants that were already there because I am supposed to be a "Plant person." But I do not have a clue. Some look a bit like plants I know but just a little different. Like the 3rd one has leaves like an oleander, but the flowers are wrong. And the 5th one looks a bit like Mexican Heather but not the right color. I am thinking that they are wildflowers but I don;t know. Can anyone help me?
