SOLVED: A cutting from I plant I don\'t recognize

Gainesville, FL

This cutting was given to me. It's come through two hands and I'm not sure what it is. It's rooting, though, and I plan to plant it when I feel it is strong enough to go outside full time. Anyone know what it might be? I had thought Musseanda, but I can't find anything online that looks just like it.

Could it be Megaskepasma erythrochlamys ?

I think that may be it! I found a lot of images of it online. It kind of resembles a firespike in its growth habit, with the big, glossy leaves. But the flower, while upright, is very different. In any event, thanks! I think we've got it.

Could also be Warszewiczia coccinea.
